Aashraya Hospital was established in May 2014 to close a simple gap: quality, specialist-led treatment shouldn't mean a long trip out of Gadag. What began as a focused surgical and maternity practice on Tagore Road has grown into a NABH accredited multispeciality hospital, while keeping the thing patients told us mattered most — doctors who remember your name.
Today our in-house team covers general and laparoscopic surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, cardiology, diabetology and paediatrics, supported by visiting specialists in urology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurosurgery and joint replacement — so most families in and around Gadag-Betigeri never need to travel further for care.

Aashraya was founded in 2014 because Gadag-Betigeri needed specialist-led surgical and maternity care close to home, not a long trip to the city. What began as a small practice has grown into the NABH accredited multispeciality hospital this community relies on today, but it's still run the way it started: by a family, for families.
Between us, we've spent well over a decade and a half in general and laparoscopic surgery and in obstetrics and gynaecology, and what we tell every doctor and nurse we bring on is simple — treat the person in front of you the way you'd want your own family treated. Explain the diagnosis in plain language. Never pad a bill. Never rush a consultation because the waiting room is full.

Founded by Dr. Shridhar V. Kuradagi and Dr. Sunitha Kuradagi with general & laparoscopic surgery and gynaecology & maternity care at the core.
Added paediatrics & a dedicated NICU
Brought on dedicated paediatric care and a fully equipped Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to support newborns and mothers locally.
Grew into a full multispeciality hospital
Introduced cardiology and diabetology consultations, a 24/7 emergency department, ICU with ventilator support and an in-house dialysis centre.
